The exercises focus on the mental representation of objects shown at different angles or after having been rotated one or more times. They mainly call upon visualization skills and the ability to manage information in the short-term memory. This spatial skill component is often considered the most difficult to master.

Levels Stimuli Classes: Sole 23
Scenario and task: Astronauts, planets and space shuttles are subject to random rotation, as they are no longer subject to gravity. The client’s task is to identify the final position of an object after it has made rotations on one or many Cartesian axes (x, y, z). An object (a bird, tractor or turtle) is placed in a cube displayed on the screen. After several seconds, the bird, for example, disappears and the cube rotates one or more times. The client must imagine the position of the bird inside the cube during the rotation(s). Once the cube has finished rotating, the object is presented at the bottom of the screen in six different positions. The client must identify the object’s position after rotating.
